Respiratory Therapist II

Position Overview Ensure that Respiratory Therapy services rendered (evaluation and treatment of patients) are completed in a timely, accurate and reliable manner. Those served include inpatients, outpatients, UHS staff and employees as well as affiliated UHSH community groups as needed. Primary Department, Division, or Unit Pulmonary Services, UHS Wilson Medical Center Work Shift and Schedule This is a per diem position, meaning you will work on an as‑needed, agreed upon basis. Working hours will be assigned by your manager. Compensation Range $33.63 - $50.45 per hour, depending on experience. Education / Experience This position is not eligible for benefits. Minimum Required Graduation from an accredited School for Respiratory Therapy. CRT credentialed Respiratory Therapist must have at least 10 years of experience to be eligible for Respiratory Therapist2. Two (2) years of Critical Care/Acute Care experience as a Respiratory Therapist OR one (1) year of demonstrated ability as a Respiratory TherapistI within UHS. Preferred Bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy. License / Certification New York State Respiratory Therapy License. BLS/CPR Certification upon hire and ACLS within 3 months of hire.
