We are passionate about advancing the development of medicines for patients and are committed to our core values. Position Summary Certara is seeking Sales Associate for our AMER region. This role will focus on driving growth for Certara's existing solutions and managing inside sales for tier 3 Life Sciences companies. As a Sales Associate, you will build and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Certara's software products and services, working closely to manage and grow our existing business through our inside sales model while leveraging resources from other Certara divisions and strategic partners. Responsibilities Provide administrative support to the Business Development team, including the preparation of proposals, presentations, and other client-facing documents. Ensure CRM software is up to date by tracking sales leads, entering new contacts, and maintaining accurate records of opportunities, including descriptions, next steps, and forecast categories. Collaborate with Commercial Operations and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure timely delivery of proposals and facilitate legal contract reviews. Manage client communications, ensuring timely and professional responses to inquiries. Coordinate sales campaigns to drive new lead creation in collaboration with the Business Development team. Assist with meeting requests and logistics for BD/SME co-travel. Support BD team members in preparing for client meetings with pre-call plans and relevant materials. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company services and offerings to effectively communicate with clients. Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements and streamline administrative functions. Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a Business Development Representative or Inside Sales Representative or other Sales role, preferably client facing. Bachelor's degree in a science discipline or equivalent work experience is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in capturing all sales interactions in Salesforce. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Ability to work independently and thrive in a high-energy team environment. Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Salesforce experience is highly valued. Proven track record of sales performance in a competitive, dynamic marketplace. Fluent in English.
