Job Summary
Preoperative Registered Nurse (RN) Plano, TX. This role involves providing specialized preoperative nursing care in a dedicated unit. The candidate will be responsible for preparing patients for surgery, assessing their needs, and ensuring a smooth transition through the perioperative process within a hospital setting.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active RN license, 2+ years of hospital experience, 2+ years of specialty experience, BLS, ACLS, NIH required, experience with Meditech electronic documentation system
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) or stepdown units, additional specialty certifications are a plus
• Additional Information: This position requires adherence to unit-specific dress code, including royal blue scrubs and adherence to nail, hair, and body art policies. Floating to other units may be required as needed. Attendance policy will follow organizational standards.
