Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:
Perform specialized cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures in a fast-paced, acute care environment. Provide expert nursing care and support to patients undergoing complex cardiovascular interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care during electrophysiology and catheterization procedures.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in clinical status.
• Prepare and assist with procedures involving pacemakers, ablations, Watchman devices, and cryoablation.
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced GE and ESI equipment, documenting procedures accurately in Meditech and MacLab systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure seamless patient care and safety.

Qualifications:

• Hold current ACLS certification and EKG training.
• Demonstrate previous experience in electrophysiology and cardiac catheterization lab procedures.
• Possess valid RN licensure; additional credentials such as RCIS, RT, or CVT preferred.
• Exhibit strong skills in patient assessment and clinical documentation.
• Ability to scrub all electrophysiology procedures in an acute care setting.
