Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Assist in discerning diagnoses of surgical issues through analysis of imaging studies and lab results

• Provide support during procedures by preparing operating rooms, ensuring patient safety, and passing instruments efficiently
• Offer exemplary pre- and post-operative care, involving medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a surgical emphasis is strongly preferred

Licensing and Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
