Store Manager – Ann Taylor As a Store Manager you will lead the customer and associate experiences in your store. You are empowered to drive a profitable business by focusing on customer experience, operational performance, visual standards, and strong community engagement. You coach your team to reach their full potential and ensure a welcoming experience for all customers and associates. Responsibilities Cultivate a customer-focused environment that consistently delivers exceptional customer experiences. Inspire, educate, and coach associates to create genuine customer connections. Use technology to provide customers with a seamless omnichannel shopping experience. Hire and build an effective store team through training, coaching, and talent development. Create an inclusive store environment for associates where everyone feels welcome and engaged. Develop a strong operational dynamic within the team to achieve store goals. Promote in-store community events and philanthropic partnerships. Use tools and reporting to oversee store profitability, effective budgeting, and payroll. Analyze reporting to develop short‑ and long‑term retail plans. Manage the day‑to‑day operations of the store, including opening and closing. Qualifications 2+ years retail Store Manager or service industry experience (preferred). Hospitality mindset in engaging with customers and associates. Strong people‑management skills and an ability to develop talent. Effective leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Technology proficient and able to operate a point‑of‑sale system. Strong business acumen and ability to develop strategies and action plans to drive results. Action‑oriented mindset with the ability to organize, delegate, and prioritize assignments.
