Job Summary
ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Nurse Location: Not Specified. This hospital-based position involves providing critical care to patients in the ICU setting, with flexibility to float to telehealth and medical-surgical floors. The role requires handling a full patient load, managing complex cases such as sepsis, DKA hyperglycemia, and post-surgery recoveries, with a focus on critical interventions and patient safety.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, and Experience: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale); minimum experience of 2 years in ICU setting.
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with 2 weekends per 4 weeks and holidays as needed.
• Responsibilities: Manage ICU patients including sepsis, hyperglycemia, GI bleeds, and other critical diagnoses. Float to telehealth and medical-surgical floors, covering 4 to 5 patients, with strong IV skills required.
• Additional information: Must be comfortable with the ABCDE bundle, ventilator management, and interpreting own strips. Experienced in using Cerner charting system.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to telehealth, medical-surgical floors.
