Role Description The Area Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Cleveland, responsible for overseeing facility service operations across a defined group of locations. This position manages daily service delivery, including scheduling staff, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with company standards and client requirements. The Area Manager conducts regular site visits, addresses issues promptly, and coordinates with clients to maintain strong relationships and high satisfaction levels. This role also manages budgets, reviews operational data, and implements process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality. The Area Manager leads and develops team members through coaching, training, and performance feedback, while promoting a safe and respectful work environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in facility services, property management, or operations management, preferably overseeing multiple sites or teams.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and people management skills, including the ability to motivate staff and manage performance effectively.
• Solid organizational and time-management abilities, with skill in scheduling, prioritizing tasks, and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in communication and relationship management, including clear written and verbal communication and professional client interaction.
• Comfort with basic business and financial concepts, such as budgeting, cost control, and reporting on operational metrics.
• Ability to work on-site across Greater Cleveland, conduct regular facility inspections, and respond promptly to operational issues.
• Knowledge of safety practices, regulatory compliance, and quality standards relevant to facility operations.
• Experience using office productivity software and basic facility management or work-order systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience in service, facilities, or related industries is strongly beneficial.
