Job Description

This position offers a sign on bonus for eligible new hires!

Assists anesthesia personnel with the preparation and insertion of specialized invasive monitoring equipment utilized during peri-operative procedures.

Essential Responsibilities

1. Provides technical support to anesthesia personnel during the preparation and insertion of specialized invasive monitoring equipment. (30%)
2. Ensures that all anesthetizing locations are in a state of readiness. (30%)
3. Maintain proper standards of cleanliness and organization of the Anesthesia workroom. (15%)
4. Manages equipment, supplies, and medication according to established guidelines in order to maintain safe, efficient, and cost effective programs. (15%)
5. Participates in hospital, division, and department activities.(10%)
6. Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications

Minimum

• Must meet one of the following qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of experience as an Anesthesia Technician or Emergency/Medical or related experience
• Graduate from an accredited Anesthesia Tech school or program
• CPR American Heart Association

Preferred

• ASATT Certified Anesthesia Technician (Cer.A.T.) or ASATT Certified Anesthesia Technologist (Cer.A.T.T.)
