We’ve spent years operating high-utilization EV rideshare fleets across North America. Now, we’re evolving that foundation into an Autonomous Operations Platform — designed to support OEMs, AV companies, and partners as they scale real-world deployments.

The Role
We are seeking a high-impact, externally-oriented COO to lead Autzu through its next phase of growth.
This is not a traditional internal operations role.
Core Mandate (Next 6 Months)
• Establish and drive strategic partnerships in the AV ecosystem ,
• Build and position Autzu as the operational layer for autonomous fleet deployment
• Stand up and operationalize a flagship hub in San Francisco to demonstrate real-world capabilities
• Translate Autzu’s fleet operations into a live, partner-facing product and proof of concept
• Integrate agentic AI systems into operations to automate workflows, monitoring, and maintenance
What You’ll Do
• Lead all operational strategy across EV and autonomous fleet programs
• Own and drive partnership development AV ecosystem stakeholders
• Work cross-functionally with engineering to integrate AI-driven and agentic systems into operations
• Oversee fleet operations, vendor networks, and hub infrastructure
• Build and execute go-to-market strategy for Autonomous Operations as a platform
• Represent Autzu in partner, investor, and strategic conversations
What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience in mobility, autonomous vehicles, EV, robotics, or adjacent infrastructure sectors
• Strong track record of closing and managing strategic partnerships (ideally with major tech or OEM players)
• Experience operating in high-growth, ambiguous environments
• Deep understanding of operations at scale (fleet, marketplace, logistics, or infrastructure)
• Familiarity with AI-driven operations, automation, or agentic systems
• Strong executive presence with ability to engage external partners at a high level
Ideal Backgrounds
• Hands on Launcher who can build out new hubs, work with vendors, and go to market
• Marketplace + operations leaders who have launched cities or scaled networks
• Operators who have worked at the intersection of technology + real-world infrastructure
