Mercury Hampton has been exclusively retained  on behalf of a growing industrial solutions business that is seeking an experienced Industrial Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to support the next phase of its growth journey. 

This is a rare opportunity to join an entrepreneurial, customer-focused organisation that has built an excellent reputation within the Houston and Gulf Coast industrial market. The business currently generates more than $6 million in annual revenue and is looking for a commercially driven sales professional who can take ownership of existing customer relationships whilst creating new opportunities across the region.

The successful candidate will inherit an established portfolio of accounts while also being responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities with refineries, petrochemical facilities, power generation sites, industrial contractors and other heavy industrial customers.

You will become a key commercial figure within the organisation, working closely with the COO to drive revenue growth, strengthen customer relationships and expand market share across the Gulf Coast territory.

The Candidate:

• 4+ years of successful B2B industrial sales experience.
• Strong knowledge of the Houston and Gulf Coast industrial marketplace.
• Existing relationships with refineries, petrochemical plants, power generation facilities and industrial contractors.
• Proven track record of carrying and exceeding sales quotas and revenue targets.
• Experience selling technical products, engineered solutions, industrial services or industrial equipment.
• Demonstrable success in both account management and new business development.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable acting as the face of a growing business within the marketplace.
• Highly motivated, self-driven and capable of operating with autonomy.
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
