Who You Are: Prior experience in a professional food production or kitchen environment as a dishwasher or in a similar support role - preferred Knowledge of approved sanitation methods and a commitment to maintaining a clean workspace at all times Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in doing the job right every shift Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and comply with all health and safety standards Must be at least 16 years of age What You’ll do: Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using approved sanitation methods and industrial dishwashing equipment Return all cleaned items to their proper storage location promptly and accurately Complete routine daily and weekly deep cleaning of kitchen equipment and work areas Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment throughout the entire shift Assist the dining area with general cleaning and table service clean-up as needed Work cooperatively with the main kitchen and food service staff to support a smooth and efficient operation Make timely decisions to ensure compliance with performance and sanitation standards Perform other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Supervisor or Food & Beverage Manager Physical Requirements: Stands continuously in a kitchen environment for the majority of the shift Frequently kneels, stoops, and bends when cleaning equipment and work areas Regularly lifts, carries, and moves items weighing up to 50 pounds Works in a warm, wet, and fast-paced kitchen environment for extended periods Handles hot items and cleaning chemicals safely, using appropriate protective equipment Employer sponsored 401k plan after 1,000 worked hours and one (1) year of service Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Free ski and tubing passes for employees 50% off food at our restaurants Free group ski and snowboard lessons for employees Employee discounted lift tickets for family and friends Lift ticket discounts at multiple resorts including 24 Mountain Collective destinations Hotel discounts Employee ski reciprocal programs Sugar Bowl Resort believes that all persons are entitled to equal employment opportunity and does not discriminate against its employees or applicants because of race, color, hair, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender orientation, gender expression, pregnancy, marital status, national origin, citizenship, veteran status, ancestry, age, physical or mental disability, medical condition, or any other status protected by federal, state or local law, ordinance or regulation.
