Duties
Serve as a Medication Safety Pharmacist in direct support of the provision of healthcare to patients of the Medical Treatment facility.
Serve as an expert on medication safety, pharmaceuticals, pharmacokinetics and pharmacotherapeutics.
Serve as a liaison between pharmacy, nursing, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals in order to ensure safe and standardized medication use processes.
Coordinates activities, leads staff, and manages systems related to medication safety to ensure that the medication use process meets or exceeds the reasonable expectations of patients and staff.
