Position Overview
Soliant is seeking a dedicated School Social Worker in theMilford, Michigan area to support students throughout the entire 2026–2027school year. This full-time position will focus on supporting students at the middleschool level and collaborating with students, families, teachers, and schoolstaff to promote academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success.
Responsibilities:
- Provide social work services and support to middle school students
- Address students' social, emotional, behavioral, and academic needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and other members of the educational team
- Participate in student support and special education meetings as needed
- Assist with developing and implementing appropriate interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation and student records
- Connect students and families with appropriate school and community resources
- Support a positive, inclusive, and student-centered school environment
Requirements:
- Michigan School Social Worker Certification required
- Michigan Social Worker License required
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with middle school students and multidisciplinary teams
