Casa Del Lobo is a design-driven showroom specializing in handcrafted large-format ceramic planters, pottery, and curated design objects sourced from Mexico. Located in the heart of La Jolla Shores, we work closely with interior designers, landscape architects, architects, builders, developers, hospitality groups, and homeowners to source distinctive pieces for residential and commercial projects. We are seeking a highly organized, self-motivated Trade Sales & Business Development Manager to help grow our trade and commercial sales business and establish Casa Del Lobo as the premier destination for luxury ceramic planters in Southern California. Casa Del Lobo | La Jolla Shores, California About the Role We are looking for a relationship builder who is passionate about design, enjoys meeting new people, and thrives on creating opportunities. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, entrepreneurial, and excited by the challenge of helping build a growing brand from the ground up. You will be responsible for developing relationships with interior designers, landscape architects, architects, builders, developers, and hospitality groups while helping clients source the right products for their projects. Responsibilities Business Development Identify and cultivate relationships with interior designers, landscape architects, architects, builders, developers, hospitality groups, and luxury residential clients. Conduct outreach through email, phone, networking events, industry organizations, and in-person visits. Introduce Casa Del Lobo to design firms and trade professionals throughout Southern California. Generate new project opportunities and trade accounts. Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospective clients. Develop strategies to increase sales and expand Casa Del Lobo's presence within the design community. Trade Sales & Client Management Serve as the primary point of contact for trade clients Assist clients with product selection, sizing, finishes, and project recommendations Prepare quotes, proposals, and trade pricing Manage projects from initial inquiry through delivery and installation Provide exceptional customer service and follow-through throughout the sales process Relationship Building Foster long-term relationships with designers, architects, landscapers, and developers Maintain regular communication with existing and prospective clients Create repeat business through trust, responsiveness, and outstanding service Organization & Operations Maintain CRM and client records Track leads, projects, and sales opportunities Coordinate with the operations team on inventory availability, deliveries, and custom orders Ensure a seamless client experience from first conversation through project completion Qualifications Required Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and project management abilities Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Professional, polished, and confident in client-facing environments Strong follow-through and attention to detail. Comfortable with networking, outreach, and business development Ability to build and maintain meaningful professional relationships Background in interior design, landscape design, architecture, horticulture, luxury home furnishings, construction, or a related design field is a plus Location & Work Environment This is a full-time, in-person position based at Casa Del Lobo's showroom in La Jolla Shores. The role combines time spent in our showroom with client meetings, networking events, project site visits, and outreach throughout Southern California. The ideal candidate enjoys working face-to-face with clients and serving as an ambassador for the Casa Del Lobo brand.
