Are you ready to program the future of aerospace technology on some of the largest, high-precision machining centers in the industry? We are seeking an elite CNC Programmer who thrives on solving complex manufacturing puzzles and pushing machining capabilities to the edge. In this high-impact role, you will take command of advanced multi-axis gantry mills, turning intricate CATIA V5 design models into flawless 3-, 4-, and 5-axis toolpaths for massive aerostructure components. Proven background in CATIA V5 and/or Vericut is absolute-must expertise for this position. You will build 3D manufacturing models, optimize aggressive material removal rates on titanium and aluminum, and simulate full-scale machining runs to eliminate collisions before code ever hits the shop floor. Working alongside top-tier engineers, you will perform on-machine troubleshooting, shape work-holding strategies, and ensure every monolithic part meets exact aerospace tolerances.

responsibilities:

• CATIA Programming & Modeling: Translate complex 3D CATIA V5 models into highly efficient 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC programs for large-envelope, gantry-style machining centers.
• Simulation & Verification: Utilize Vericut and CATIA NC simulation to perform full machine dynamic verification, eliminating collisions, gouges, and fixture interference prior to floor deployment.
• Process Optimization: Select cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and work-holding strategies to maximize material removal rates, tool life, and surface finish on thin-walled aluminum and titanium structures.
• Shop Floor Support: Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to support first-article setups, troubleshoot post-processor output, and fine-tune program offsets on active production runs.
• Quality & Compliance: Maintain robust manufacturing documentation, setup sheets, and tooling libraries in accordance with AS9100 and ITAR quality standards.
