Job Details: Feed Dispatcher Loading Operator (2nd Shift) Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. (approximate) Hourly Wage: $18.20 plus $2.00 per hour shift premium This position is responsible for multiple tasks including receiving orders, loading trucks, and dispatching trucks while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Job Responsibilities 1. Ability to read and write in order to receive and document orders 2. Ability to schedule loads of feed by creating and organizing feed tickets and maintaining them for record keeping. 3. Ability to dispatch loads of feed and distribute them evenly among driver/team members within DOT rules and regulations. 4. Ability to answer calls from Service Techs and Growers while maintaining a good working relationship with them. 5. Ability to organize/flex task and change priorities throughout the day 6. Ability to take Feed bin inventory 7. Ability to operate loading equipment to correctly load trucks based on load schedules and prioritize daily feed orders as regards OUTS, SERVICE ORDERS, FOD, and PLACEMENT ORDERS. 8. Ability to answer phone from Growers and promote a good working relationship with them. 9. Able to work in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments. Heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather. 10. Ability to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required based on demand scheduling 11. Ability to work in elevated areas and follow all safety procedures 12. Able to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity Guidelines including an agreement to avoid any avian species 13. Maintain good housekeeping including service areas 14. Communicate to all levels of Operations including Customers and Vendors both orally and in writing where required 15. Follow and Operate within all Tyson Health and Safety protocols 16. Able to Lift up to 60 lbs. and/or up to 100 lbs. with assistance 17. Stand, Sit, Walk, Climb Ladder/Stairs with the ability to sustain physical activity throughout the day. 18. Complete all other tasks assigned by management. Requirements: Feed Mill Dispatcher: Six (6) months operator experience with one employer in the previous 12 months. Clerical experience and/or dispatch experience preferred. Knowledge of DOT trucking procedures preferred. High school degree or equivalent preferred. Preferred Requirements Education: High school degree or equivalent Must be able to complete paperwork, basic math, communicate effectively. Experience: Clerical experience and/or feed mill experience preferred, Knowledge of DOT trucking procedures preferred Special Skills: 1. Basic computer skills 2. Basic Math Skills 3.
