Sr Tech - Electrical Controls Technician

Responsibilities Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions (PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and control components) Maintain and monitor the performance of the control systems Perform complex and specialized PLC programs and technical support Evaluate and recommend system upgrades Design process control system Develop and document the troubleshooting strategies of the logic controls; work and elaborate with the electrical & control contractors through the company related projects Assist managers and others in creating training curricula, materials, and documentation Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance to project managers for the resolution of complex engineering project controls issues Ability to sketch new blueprints and necessary drawings Solve the PLC programming issues Solve the problems of the control logics Responsibility to provide technical support for maintenance employees Team Engineering, Maintenance and Production Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED 2+ years of Controls experience Knowledge with Allen Bradley Controls (AB) and PLCs Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree 4+ years of Controls experience within the Food Manufacturing industry 3+ years of AB and PLC experience Compensation & Benefits The target base salary range for this full‑time, salaried position is between $70,900 and $101,900.
