Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med Surg team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical-surgical nursing, with the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Position Information

• Department: Med Surg
• Role: RN
• Shift: 12-hour shifts (7 AM - 7 PM)
• Guaranteed Weekly Hours: 36
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
• Float Requirements: May float as a second nurse to Telemetry and Emergency Department

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 22 beds on each unit
• Patient Ratios: 6:1 up to 7:1
• Equipment: Telemetry
• Electronic Health Record System: MEDITECH
• Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: BLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Educational Background: Associate's degree in Nursing (RN)
• Preferred Skillset: Experience with Med Surg
• Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Surgical care, patients requiring continuous care, and psychiatric interventions
• Personality Fit: Family-oriented and team player

Dress Code

Scrub color is flexible; any professional nursing scrubs are acceptable.
