INSTRUCTIONAL SYSTEMS SPECIALIST

Duties
You will evaluate the effectiveness of instructional and educational programs.
You will establish instructional design and development criteria through the analysis of educational or instructional problems.
You will communicate regularly with subject matter experts and course faculty advisors to solicit feedback, identify best practices, and share strategies.
You will write technical reports documenting the efforts, conclusions, or recommendations of analysis and evaluations.
You will arrange documents (e.g., naval messages, correspondence, reports, memoranda, point papers, briefs) to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
You will observe instructor performance throughout the training facility and evaluate performance utilizing a standardized checklist.
You will participate in special projects such as pilot programs, functional process improvement teams, quality teams, and working groups.
