Part Time Front Desk Medical ReceptionistAll Star Physical Therapy, a member of the Confluent Health family, is looking for a Part Time Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our team!At Confluent Health and our family of affiliated brands, Care Coordinators are the heartbeat of the clinic. They are the first voice a patient hears and the first face they see. You set the tone for the entire patient experience: organized, warm, and professional from the very first call through every visit. This is a fast-paced, multi-tasking role where no two days look the same, and where your ability to stay calm, follow through, and take ownership makes a direct impact on patients and the clinical team.Compensation: $17-$20/Hour, based on experience.Part Time: 25 Hours/WeekLocation: Escondido, California 92025Responsibilities:Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sourcesManage front desk operations including patient check-in, check-out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and phone callsReview, schedule, and follow up on incoming referrals by gathering information, creating or updating patient records, and helping patients understand next stepsKeep patient flow and schedules moving by confirming appointments, working waitlists, filling cancellations, and following up with patients who need future visitsCollect copays, balances, and other patient payments accurately and professionally, including basic payment tracking or reconciliation when neededProtect patient privacy and uphold HIPAA standards in all front desk interactions and documentationQualifications:You don't need a healthcare background to be great in this role — but you do need to be someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, thrives in a busy environment, and takes ownership of your work.
