Job Overview The Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program is a 16‑week development program that prepares candidates for a CVS Store Manager position. It combines self‑paced virtual learning with hands‑on training and is designed to develop leadership, customer service, merchandising and inventory management skills. Responsibilities Communicate verbally and in writing to support and lead the team. Perform customer care duties to provide a high level of service. Execute merchandising strategies that drive store sales growth. Manage store inventory and assets to maintain profitability. Actively engage in key learning experiences and collaborate with district leaders, HR, training staff, and store managers. Lead the store in accordance with CVS values and policies. Qualifications High school diploma or GED (four‑year college degree preferred). Experience in retail management or as a CVS Supervisor. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work a schedule that may vary based on business needs. Familiarity with a full‑time schedule (45 hours per week). Program Details •Weekly hours: 45 (full time) •Pay range: $18.50 – $23.88 per hour, based on experience, education, and location.
