Job Title: Multi Skills Lecturer in Construction Closing date: 22/06/2026 Salary: £26,687 to £41,413 per annum Hours: 37 hours per week (Full Time) Overview The Multi Skills Lecturer will support the Construction department by delivering high‑quality teaching and learning across a range of vocational subjects, including carpentry and construction related studies, working in partnership with the wider college teaching team. Key Responsibilities Deliver and manage high‑quality teaching and learning for NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) courses. Develop and manage efficient, effective non‑guided learning, including study guides and extension materials. Contribute to the development of new courses and qualifications. Maintain and produce teaching materials that support student learning. Keep up‑to‑date with new developments in the subject area. Assist with administrative tasks related to the post. Participate in the College’s quality systems and performance management scheme. Support safeguarding, equality and diversity policies and GDPR principles. Qualifications & Experience Relevant subject qualification – minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent). Teaching qualification or willingness to obtain a Certificate in Education and Training within 2 years of appointment. Minimum level 2 qualification in English and Maths (to be obtained if not already in place). Experience of teaching or training within the construction sector preferred.
