Reporting to the Director of Operations, the staff accountant position will provide accounting and financial support services for the VFCCE. This position provides direct support to the Finance Manager. Special Assignments

May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

KSA's/Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to organize work with large amounts of information efficiently, manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work as a team player

Additional Considerations

• Fund accounting experience
• Financial Edge software knowledge
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
• Accounts payable and general experience
• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or five or more years of relevant accounting experience
