Overview Lead the hospice care program at a 150+ bed community hospital in central Connecticut. The role receives recognition for high-quality outcomes and supports innovative approaches, including advanced robotics and data‑driven decision support, that prioritize clinical excellence and compassion. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations, staffing, and scheduling of hospice care nurses. Mentor and support professional development for the hospice team. Steward the program budget and manage financial resources. Ensure regulatory readiness with CMS and Joint Commission standards. Develop and implement clinical pathways and order sets. Coordinate interdisciplinary care and community partnerships. Drive performance improvement initiatives across HIS measures and patient experience goals.
