Specialized Role

This role is part of our Back of House Quality Team with a strong focus on cleanliness, organization, dishwashing, sanitation, and supporting kitchen operations. Utility Team Members help create a clean, safe, and efficient environment by managing dishes, trash, kitchen organization, and deep cleaning responsibilities throughout the restaurant.

This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in hard work, consistency, organization, and supporting the success of the team behind the scenes. Success in this role requires urgency, discipline, reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to serve wherever needed.

This Role Is Physically Demanding

This position is highly physical and fast-paced. Team Members should be comfortable working on their feet for long periods of time while lifting, cleaning, organizing, and moving quickly throughout the kitchen.

The Team Member is responsible for helping create remarkable guest experiences through food quality, speed, cleanliness, teamwork, and care for others.

Availability

• Preferred availability: 20+ hours/week
• Minimum availability: 12 hours/week
• AM - 8a-4p, PM - 5-close

Position Types

• Full-Time: Average 36+ hours/week
• Part-Time: Average 1235 hours/week

Pay Range

Full-Time

$16.00$17.00/hour

Part-Time

$11.75$13.50/hour

What You'll Do

Basic Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen and utility areas
• Manage trash removal and cardboard disposal throughout shifts
• Complete deep cleaning responsibilities according to restaurant standards
• Support food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
• Maintain clean floors, drains, sinks, walls, and work surfaces
• Restock cleaning supplies and support kitchen organization
• Work efficiently during high-volume periods
• Support teammates and contribute to a positive team culture
• Complete opening and closing cleaning responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old upon hire
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must work well under pressure
• Strong work ethic and reliability required
• Consistent attendance and punctuality required
• Ability to stand and move for long periods during shifts
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and move heavy items repeatedly
• Comfortable working in wet, hot, noisy, and fast-paced environments
• Reading, writing, communication, and basic math skills required
• Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and kitchen equipment
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes and prioritize efficiently
