Position Summary
We are seeking an Assembly Material Handler for a growing manufacturing facility in Indianapolis. This position plays a critical role in supporting production by ensuring assembly lines remain fully stocked with the materials and components needed to meet production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret production work orders
• Pull, stage, and deliver materials to assembly lines
• Perform inventory transactions and material tracking within the company system
• Enter material numbers accurately into inventory software
• Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks (PIT) safely and efficiently in accordance to manufactures operating procedures
• Monitor production line inventory and replenish materials as needed
• Communicate effectively with assembly team members and supervisors
• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Keep work areas organized and clean ensuring a safe working environment
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely

Qualifications & Skills

• Manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred
• Previous forklift or powered industrial truck (PIT) experience is required
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read and understand work orders and inventory information
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Physical ability to lift weight up to 50 lbs. Frequently
• Ability to lift, move, and transport materials throughout the facility

Employment Type & Compensation

• This is a Full-Time | Temporary position
• Pay rate is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, based on experience
• Application Window: Open until filled

Work Schedule

• 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Saturday overtime
