E.J. Reynolds Company, a leader in precision machining and custom manufacturing, is looking for a highly skilled CNC Programmer to join our growing team. What You’ll Do
You’ll be the technical backbone of our machining operations—creating programs, supporting machinists, improving processes, and helping keep production running smoothly.
CNC Programming — Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs for mills and lathes to ensure efficiency, quality, and repeatability.
Machining Support — Assist machinists with program interpretation, setups, troubleshooting, and machining best practices.
Production Scheduling — Collaborate with the Shop Manager to support job scheduling and workflow priorities.
Data & ERP Management — Maintain accurate job information in Global Shop, including program revisions, material data, and router updates.
Quoting Support — Assist with job quoting by analyzing machining time, tooling needs, and process steps.
Quality & Vendor Coordination — Ensure machining steps meet customer specs and coordinate with vendors, tooling, and purchasing teams.
What You Bring
You’re not just a programmer—you’re a machining expert with deep technical knowledge and a passion for precision.
6+ years CNC programming experience
10+ years experience with cutting tools
Strong knowledge of milling, turning, grinding, and machining techniques
Ability to program using commercial CAM software
Ability to read complex engineering drawings, DXF/DWG files, and blueprints
Experience with ERP systems (Global Shop a plus)
Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem‑solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to lift 30lbs and stand for extended periods
Willingness to work early/late shifts, weekends, or overtime when needed
