Job Summary

• Seeking an AI-first QA Engineer to build and own a next-generation quality function powered by automation and intelligent systems.
• This role is centered on redefining how quality is delivered by leveraging AI to replace traditional manual QA processes and scale testing without increasing headcount.
• The position focuses on building systems that automatically generate test coverage, identify risk, and improve release confidence across web, mobile, and platform services.
• Instead of writing and maintaining manual test cases, you will design workflows that use AI to interpret product requirements, generate test scenarios, and continuously validate application performance.
• The ideal candidate combines strong engineering ability with a deep interest in AI-driven development workflows.
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to embed quality early in the development lifecycle and ensure that testing scales efficiently as the platform grows.
• This is a hands-on, code-first role focused on building systems, not managing manual QA processes.
• Build and own an AI-powered quality function across web, mobile, and platform services
• Design and implement workflows that use AI to generate test cases from product requirements, user journeys, and development tickets
• Convert application flows into automated test coverage across functional, regression, integration, and API layers
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing
• Integrate intelligent testing into CI/CD pipelines with dynamic test prioritization and release gating
• Leverage AI tools to diagnose failures, triage issues, and accelerate debugging and resolution
• Continuously evaluate and implement new AI tools and workflows to improve testing efficiency and coverage
• Contribute code through small pull requests to improve product stability and reduce defects
• Review pull requests with a strong focus on quality, test coverage, and risk identification
• Partner with product and engineering teams early to improve feature testability and define validation strategies
• Build dashboards and reporting systems to track coverage, release risk, and system reliability
• Support mobile testing across platforms, including validation, crash monitoring, and edge case handling

• 5+ years of experience in QA, test automation, or software engineering with a strong focus on automation
• Proven experience using AI tools to improve development or testing workflows
• Proficiency in at least one modern testing framework such as Playwright or Cypress
• Experience working with APIs, automation scripts, and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong coding ability with experience contributing code and making minor fixes
• Solid understanding of functional, regression, and integration testing methodologies
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering and product teams
• Experience building or scaling QA systems in fast-paced or startup environments is preferred
• Experience with mobile testing frameworks and cross-platform QA is preferred
• Familiarity with AI-driven testing workflows or building automation using LLMs is a strong plus
• Experience building dashboards, observability tools, or quality reporting systems is a plus
• Strong product mindset with the ability to understand user journeys and edge cases
• Strong test automation background with tools like Playwright or Cypress
• Comfortable writing code and contributing to PRs
• Experience working in CI/CD environments (GitHub Actions or similar)
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in development workflows (Copilot, Cursor, Claude, OpenAI)
• Ability to build systems, not just execute test cases
• Has built or significantly improved automation frameworks
