Senior Data Engineer

The Senior Associate, Data Engineering will play a key role within the Data & Analytics function, supporting the venture and growth business by designing, building, and evolving an enterprise data platform. This role helps shape the long‑term vision for the firm’s data ecosystem by delivering scalable, secure, and high‑performing infrastructure that powers analytics, reporting, artificial intelligence, and business insights. Responsibilities Design, build, and optimize scalable data models, pipelines, and workflows that support the firm’s growth‑focused data platform. Establish modern data architecture and engineering standards that enhance scalability, reliability, security, and performance. Build robust ingestion and transformation frameworks that integrate internal and third‑party data into trusted, production‑ready datasets. Lead data governance initiatives, including metadata management, lineage, access controls, monitoring, and data quality. Develop data infrastructure that enables advanced analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and enterprise knowledge management. Partner with business stakeholders and engineering teams to translate evolving requirements into scalable technical solutions. Optimize Snowflake environments through warehouse design, query tuning, and governance best practices. Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the firm’s data platform and AI capabilities. Ideal Candidate Background 8+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a related technical discipline. Deep expertise designing and operating enterprise‑scale data platforms using Snowflake. Advanced SQL skills, including data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning. Strong Python programming experience for data engineering, automation, orchestration, and scalable pipeline development. Experience building cloud‑native data architectures, ingestion frameworks, and orchestration workflows. Proven experience implementing enterprise data governance, metadata management, lineage, access controls, and data quality practices. Experience supporting AI and machine learning use cases through modern data infrastructure.
