Medical Director Inpatient Psychiatry Franciscan Childrens

Boston Children’s Hospital and Franciscan Children’s invite applications for a Medical Director, Inpatient Psychiatry, a full-time position dedicated to providing leadership for the Franciscan inpatient psychiatry program. The Medical Director will: Oversee and optimize inpatient clinical operations, with a focus on treating complex patients appropriate for this level of care Collaborate across the Boston Children’s Hospital and Franciscan Children’s continuum of care to ensure the delivery of equitable, effective, evidence-based, patient-centered care Work closely with clinical leaders across the BCH and Franciscan Children’s psychiatric services to help children and families access the right level of care at the right time Intentionally and transparently advance health equity and support the development and retention of a diverse workforce Engage in teaching and scholarship through an academic appointment at Harvard Medical School Applicants must possess an MD, DO, or MD/PhD, have specific experience working in inpatient behavioral health, and be board certified in child/adolescent psychiatry.
