Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Location SLC, UT Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Job Description As a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with cardiac, neuro, and other complex medical conditions. You will ensure high-quality patient-centered care through effective communication, teamwork, and clinical expertise. Responsibilities Administer and monitor telemetry for cardiac patients. Manage vasoactive drips and provide respiratory support (including high-flow oxygen therapy and BiPAP). Perform patient assessments and assist with procedures such as TEE and cardioversions. Participate in rapid response situations and collaborate with the healthcare team. Conduct hourly rounding and bedside shift report to enhance patient experience. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Must have current RN License. BLS and ACLS certification required. NIHSS certification required.
