Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)

Schedule

This position requires a split shift schedule every Monday night from 6 PM to 6 AM, with two days of mid shifts from 11 AM to 11 PM. Exact days for mid shifts are to be determined.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to start as soon as possible. The technician will be responsible for performing various laboratory tests across several disciplines including Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Blood Bank, Serology, Microbiology, and Chemistry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure quality control and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Analyze results and prepare reports for physician interpretation.
• Maintain a safe and clean laboratory environment in compliance with safety regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 6 months of MLT experience required.
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician is preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems, specifically CERNER, is a plus.
• Scrubs in gray or black are required.
