Overview:

Assess patients to identify care requirements and organize appropriate nursing interventions.

Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while ensuring a safe environment.

Maintain accurate and relevant patient records and administer medications as prescribed.

Recognize and respond promptly to life-threatening situations.

Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Participate in cost containment efforts and assist with accurate patient service billing.

Adapt care plans to meet age-specific physiological, psychosocial, and cultural needs.

Assume charge nurse responsibilities as assigned.

Education: Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.

Experience: No prior experience required; new graduates encouraged to apply.

Requirements:

Current Registered Nurse licensure in a Compact state or equivalent.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Effective organizational and leadership abilities.

Understanding of age-specific developmental, psychosocial, and spiritual patient needs.

Physical ability to perform duties including standing, walking, bending, and lifting; potential exposure to infectious materials.
