Senior AI Strategy & Planning Manager

Our group functions starts with Business Consultants who scan for strategic, high-value, innovative opportunities. Then we bring our expertise across several AI domains including Generative AI, Conversational AI / Virtual Assistant, Data Science, Machine Learning Engineering, Document AI, and Robotic Process Automation. Finally, we have a Research and Development arm that assesses emerging technologies. The Strategy & Planning Mgr Sr will be responsible for current state assessment of business functions, typically the Operations space and create opportunities for efficiency, revenue growth, customer experience, speed to market, etc. We are looking for the following skill-set for this role: Strategy consulting background, preferably from a Consulting company. Knowledgeable of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, a plus Business Administration, Strategy, Innovation experience Ability to work independently and mentor or direct team of junior associates Financial industry expertise in either Retail Banking, Lending, Treasury Management, Commercial Banking, or Corporate Functions Directs strategic planning team to execute initiatives, including analysis, oversight and support for solution development. Identifies strategic opportunities that add value to the business and to achieve business goals. Defines and oversees the resources for each assigned strategic initiative. Manages the overall strategic initiative to help ensure revenue, expense and other business objectives are met. May define, monitor and use service metrics to assess performance. Develops strong partnerships with key decision makers to ensure cross-business and cross-functional alignment and synergy. Builds winning teams by providing effective leadership, management and development of employees. Visioning – Creates and communicates a vision of the organization that motivates others to superior performance. Work Experience Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry experience is typically 8+ years. At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
