Experienced HVACR Technician

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Experienced HVACR Technician based in the Denver Metropolitan Area. The technician will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVACR systems, including rooftop units, split systems, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen HVAC systems. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, testing system performance, and documenting all work performed. The role involves reading and interpreting technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manuals, as well as ensuring compliance with safety codes, regulations, and company standards. The technician will interact directly with customers, provide clear explanations of work and recommendations, coordinate with team members and dispatch, and respond to occasional after-hours or emergency service calls as needed. Qualifications Strong technical skills in installing, servicing, and repairing commercial HVACR systems, including refrigeration, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment. Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues using appropriate tools, gauges, and diagnostic equipment. Familiarity with reading blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for commercial HVACR applications. Solid understanding of safety practices, applicable codes, and regulations related to HVACR work, including lockout/tagout and safe handling of refrigerants. Effective customer service and communication skills to explain findings, present options, and work professionally with clients and team members. Strong time management, organization, and documentation skills to complete work orders, service reports, and maintenance logs accurately. Relevant certifications such as EPA Section 608 certification required; additional HVACR certifications or licenses are highly beneficial. Several years of experience as a commercial HVACR technician, preferably in restaurants, office buildings, or similar environments. Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and the ability to travel to job sites throughout the Denver Metropolitan Area.
