Exciting Opportunity for a Class A CDL Driver at General Equipment & Supply!
Are you ready to embark on a fulfilling career in the transportation industry? General Equipment & Supply is looking for a dedicated Class A CDL Driver to join our team in Simpsonville, SC. This position involves both local and OTR travel, with 85% of the time spent between SC and other states. As a leading provider of tools and equipment for various applications, we offer a dynamic work environment with ample opportunities for professional growth.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Transporting tools and equipment to various job sites
- Ensuring safe and timely delivery of goods
- Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Adhering to DOT compliance regulations
- Assisting with loading and unloading of materials
Required Skills:
- Over the Road experience
- Transportation Logistics knowledge
- DOT Compliance expertise
- Transportation Worker Identification Credential
- Heavy Equipment Operator experience
Nice to Have Skills:
- Forklift Operator
- LTL experience
- Shipping and Receiving knowledge
- Computer Skills
- Training and Development experience
