Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2280 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required with 1 month within the last 12 months.

• ASN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health and no current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: Temp Illinois licensure is not accepted. ASN.

Preferred Credentials: BSN.

Unit Details: Cares for orthopedic and medical-surgical patients, including wound care, mobility support, self-care, medication management, and care transition education. Uses ortho traction and surgical traction devices. Manages wound vacs, drains, pouches, and other urological devices.

Shift & Scheduling: 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period. Rotating holidays.

Floating Requirements: Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.
