Maintenance Tech-3rd Shift

ABOUT THE JOB: In this position you will have the opportunity to ensure the plant is in compliance with generally accepted maintenance principles while working independently requiring limited supervision. YOUR ROLE: The bullet points below reflect roughly 80% of your job. We are a fast-paced company, you may be pulled in a variety of different direction with tasks added or changed. Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment. Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks on machines, equipment, and systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support major repairs, upgrades, and improvement projects Safely accomplish assigned tasks Must be willing to work overtime as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop equipment specifications and proactive maintenance strategies Comply with safety regulations Maintain clean and orderly work areas Other duties as assigned BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: High School Graduate/HSE or equivalent manufacturing experience Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills Manage ambiguity while working through stressful situations Positive attitude and a willingness to work with others Basic machining skills Basic welding skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a group Must own hand tools Strong troubleshooting skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with Lockout/Tagout, Hot Work Permits Previous Maintenance Experience Ability to read blueprints and machine control schematics PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Physical demands of performing the duties of this job are outlined in the area specific Physical Demands Analysis. NON-PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Include but are not limited to time pressures, frequent change of tasks, irregular work schedule/overtime, multi-tasking, working closely with others as a team, and tedious or exacting work. WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the associate works around mechanical hazards, noise and or vibration daily. Extreme temperatures, wetness / humidity and being outdoors. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. COMPUTER SKILLS: Ability to run respective inventory system (Great Plains, E21, MES etc.). LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
