Systems Engineer Staff

Job TitleStandard Job Description Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.Basic QualificationsWorking knowledge or experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using CAMEO or similar toolsExperience with systems requirements, verification, development, management, and validationExperience with the development and verification of Interface Control Documents (ICDs)Current/Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance, thus US Citizenship is requiredDesired SkillsMBSE SMEExperience performing in a Systems Engineering role on a large and complex hardware and software development effortsDemonstrated ability to apply systems thinking and critical thinking skills, translating ideas into actions and resultsDemonstrated experience with development and delivery of space subsystems and componentsStrong mission and end-to-end systems expertisePrior SAP accessProficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practicePay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $118000.00 - $219100.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
