Insurance Rep- Billing Department

Reports to: Billing Supervisor

Hours: 8hr/ a day- 5 days/ week

Location: SOO- Medford, OR

Compensation: $22.50/hr

Patient Phone Calls

· Help patients with their account questions, if you cannot help them forward to Billing Rep.

· Take payments

· Epic in basket messages from patients (Pt CRM Rq)

Workman’s Comp

· Referral work queue –Verify claim is open and accepted for the affected body part, claim number, date of injury, adjuster name, phone number and email address. Then send to phone room with approved by insurance department. The phone room with then forward to the appropriate provider.

· Route work comp paperwork to the treating provider. When provider has filled out and signed paperwork forward to work comp carrier. Enter paperwork charges.

Supports the team with assisting with the following work queues:

· Registration Work Queues

· Follow up Work Queues

· Paper Claims

· Credit

Completes other duties and special projects as assigned Manager/Supervisor/Lead
