Lowe Rental, Inc . is one of the world’s leading rental refrigeration and catering equipment businesses. We provide refrigeration, catering equipment, and temporary kitchens to leading food exhibitions, sporting events, music festivals, and retailers across the USA, UK, Europe, and Asia.

We are seeking a dependable and organized Travel Operations Installer – DOT Driver to join our Operations team. This is a hands-on, travel-intensive position that combines DOT driving, equipment delivery and collection, installation, event setup and dismantling, and warehouse support.

The position requires extensive travel to trade shows, special events, and customer locations , including travel outside of normal business hours and occasional weekends.

Schedule & Travel

Our standard warehouse hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Due to the travel and event-based nature of this position, candidates must be flexible and willing to work outside of normal business hours and on weekends when required. Hours may vary based on company needs, travel schedules, and events.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles, including box trucks, to transport refrigeration and catering equipment to customer locations, trade shows, and special events.
• Travel to support trade shows, events, retail installations, deliveries, and collections.
• Set up and dismantle refrigeration and catering equipment at customer and event locations.
• Load and unload equipment safely and efficiently.
• Receive, sort, and organize incoming inventory and equipment.
• Inspect equipment for defects or damage and report any issues.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment while onsite.
• Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and work area.
• Communicate professionally by phone and email.
• Follow direction from senior Operations personnel and promptly communicate any issues.
• Assist with general warehouse and Operations responsibilities when not traveling.

Requirements

• Previous DOT driving experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of box truck driving experience required.
• Must meet company DOT driver qualification requirements and maintain an acceptable MVR.
• Must be able and willing to travel extensively, including overnight and out-of-state travel as required.
• 2–3 years of warehouse, operations, installation, or similar hands-on experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including Outlook and Excel.
• Forklift certification preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must provide basic tools.

Physical Requirements

This is a physically active position. Candidates must be able to:

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Push and/or pull up to 100 lbs.
• Climb ladders as required.
• Kneel and/or stand for extended periods.
• Use basic hand tools and test equipment.
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including temperatures exceeding 90&degree;F.
• Safely move, load, unload, and position refrigeration and catering equipment.
