Massage Therapist

Our wellness facility is looking for a seasoned massage therapist to join our growing team. Our ideal candidate is personable, committed to cultivating an excellent rapport with every client, and has experience with varied physical conditions treatable with massage therapy. Responsibilities: • Ensure client needs are met safely using the therapeutic massage technique that corresponds with their needs • Prepare the massage table and necessary products to apply to the client’s skin • Meet with each client to discuss any problems with stress or pain, and advise on types of massage and treatment • Recommend additional products or services that may benefit the client • Provide added value to client’s with suggestions for stretching, strengthening, stress relief, and overall wellness maintenance Qualifications: • Must be excellent at communication and interpersonal relationships • Licensure must comply with state and local laws and regulations • Proficiency in therapeutic massage techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, and reflexology • Massage therapy program completion preferred • High school graduate or equivalent • Prenatal experience, training, or willingness to learn to work on this demographic in a family practice setting.
