Description: This position requires basic knowledge of operative procedures to assess and implement care for ambulatory surgery patients. Regularly assess patient needs and provide skilled nursing services as prescribed by the physician's authorized plan of care and accepted nursing standards. Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, treatments, responding to call lights and alarms, and assisting with transfers. Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and collaborate with team members to update or revise plans as needed, utilizing current information to enhance patient care. Process physician orders accurately, completely, and in a timely manner. Follow up on medication changes and clarify orders when necessary.
