Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift

Schedule

This position is for 3 x 12-hour shifts on the Night Shift (19:00 – 07:30), totaling 36 hours per week.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating care for assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician. The RN applies current nursing theories and methodologies while collaborating with the patient, their family members/significant others, and various members of the healthcare team to provide individualized patient care. The RN will direct nursing support staff in the delivery of patient coverage in alignment with established nursing practices and organizational policies.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient needs.
• Implement care plans directed by licensed physicians.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care.
• Maintain compliance with nursing policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required).
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
• 1 year of experience in a clinical specialty area (preferred).
• Active PA Registered Nurse License (required).
• Basic Life Support certification (required).
• Multi-State Compact RN License (required).
