Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments through virtual consultations to identify and understand the needs of children and adolescents.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are evidence-based and tailored to address specific mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.
• Provide therapeutic interventions utilizing a variety of modalities (e.g., cognitive-behavioral therapy, play therapy) to support the emotional and psychological well-being of young clients.
• Facilitate family therapy sessions to empower parents and caregivers, guiding them on how to create nurturing and supportive home environments.
• Collaborate closely with our team of child psychiatrists to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for each patient.
• Deliver crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of your clients.
• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and available community resources.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Engage actively in team meetings and continue to seek knowledge about advancements in child and adolescent psychiatry, incorporating evidence-based practices into your work.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses on children and adolescents, addressing a variety of mental health challenges. You will play a vital role in shaping their therapeutic journey, helping them navigate their mental health challenges and supporting their families throughout the process.

Qualifications

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT is required.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience working with children and adolescents is preferred.
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, with proficiency in various evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Experience providing both individual and family therapy to young clients.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and child-centered approach to care.
• Capability to establish rapport and trust with children, adolescents, and their families.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
