Weekend requirement is every other weekend, with four shifts per schedule. Orientation is 12 hours, with block scheduling possible at manager discretion.Assignment DetailsStart date: ASAP. Guaranteed hours may be subject to change based on facility needs.Requirements2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery / Postpartum care required.Current Compact license in hand at submission.Certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, NRP.Core clinical skills include antepartum, labor and delivery care, EFM, C-section circulation/recovery, postpartum couplet care, and managing central lines.ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive care to antepartum, labor, and postpartum patients.Perform triage of obstetrical patients and external fetal monitoring.Assist in high-risk deliveries and circulate in C-sections.Support newborn care at delivery and manage postpartum couplet care.Administer medications including anticoagulation, antihypertensives, and insulin drips as needed.Follow isolation precautions and utilize PPE accordingly.Compliance / NotesMust commit to working three of the five major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. Compliance with floating to like units and sister facilities is expected.
