Description

American Traveler is hiring an Electrophysiology Tech with 2+ years of experience and required RCIS/RCES certification for a high-volume EP lab.

Details

• Work in a 9-room lab with 2 very active EP labs performing ablations, implants, and LAA closures
• High-level, multidisciplinary team focused on excellent patient outcomes
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Floating required as needed, including to any Cone Health campus
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• RCIS and RCES certification required (license required if applicable)
• Experience with arrhythmia induction, cardioversion, insertion/programming of AICDs, left atrial appendage closure, pacemaker insertion, and tilt table studies required
• Cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, and conduction studies experience preferred
• 1:1 patient ratio experience
• Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG compliance exam with up to two attempts allowed

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include equipment set up, EKG lead placement, prepping access sites, scrubbing and maintaining sterile fields, and room circulating
• Experience with fluoroscopy equipment (Philips, Siemens) and ultrasound preferred
• Familiarity with vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose) preferred
• Exposure to Watchman and temporary pacemaker procedures
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility, and no local rates apply
• RTO must be submitted with the initial application; no post-submission RTO accepted
