Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Middletown, OH offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

Driver Positions Pay Weekly: Solo Miles Pay: $0.62 per Mile with 2000 - 3000 Miles per Week. Solo Stops Pay: $50.00 per Stop with 8 to 10 stops per week. Per Diem Pay: $45.00 per night with up to 3 nights per Week. $35 detention pay, $37.00 drop/hook at wash pay - 5 per week. Endorsements: Tanker REQUIRED, Hazmat preferred - Ryder will train and help you obtain Hazmat; Must have 6 months to 1 year of Tanker experience. Tractor Type: Sleeper; Manual Transmission. Must be able to operate Manual transmission, or be willing to have the restriction removed and Ryder will train. Sign on Bonus: Pays you $4000; $2000 at 30 days, $2000 at 90 days. Safety Bonus: Pays You $4500; $1500 at 3 months, $1500 at 6 months and $1500 at 9 months. Paid Training. Schedule: Monday Friday; Rotating Sunday Dispatch 2xs/Month. Start Time: 3:00 AM - 6:00 AM.

Deliver SOLO to: OH, MI, IN, PA, WV, MS, AL, GA, IL, TN, AR, SC, NC, KY. Route: Regional w/2 - 3 layovers per week. Trailer Type: Liquid Tanker Trailer. Cannot accept automatic restriction. Freight: No Touch Driver will connect hoses and pressurize trailer w/assistance. Ryder Drivers operate well-maintained, safe trucks, 36 months or newer with 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and fueling at over 800 nationwide maintenance locations. Requirements: Minimum 21 years of age. Pass a Ryder Drug Test. Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years. Pass a DOT physical. Pass a Ryder road test. Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position. Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years' experience within the last 10 years. Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions. Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures.

Responsibilities: Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines. Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs. Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer. Performs other duties as assigned.
