As a Armed Security Officer - Building Patrol in Parker, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry, directing visitors and/or contractors in accordance with site protocols and posted requirements.
• Support emergency and incident response by communicating with supervisors, public contacts, and/or first responders, and by preparing clear, accurate reports related to daily activities and unusual events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 1 or more years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
